Chapter twenty two

Allen's POV

When Alessia's face fell and her eyeballs did those funny movement. There was no doubt she could see I wasn't in the best of moods. The last thing I want at the moment is to be bothered, sometimes I wish things could be different for me. And sincerely, I might be caught envying the life my cousin has.

All she worries about is being able to leave the house when she wants to and hang out with friends. Whereas, I live everyday wondering if I was rejected at birth or probably a situation that went out of hand and there was nothing else to do but to keep me away from my birth mother.

Alessia sat opposite me her eyes watching every of my move, "what's the matter Allen?"

I tuttered unintentionally, would have preferred if she read through the lines and left me alone. "You really don't have to bother about me you can leave."

"I understand I came off to harsh on you. It was really painful when I figured you must have ratted me out to our parents."
