Alice's POV

I said, "Why are you here?" and I checked to make sure nobody was watching. But some soldiers from that night were looking at us.

Alpha Alex asked, "Why aren't you sleeping?" He didn't care that others were watching us.

I'm the Luna of this pack, which means I have to be cautious around Alpha Alex to avoid problems.

I said, "Let's go somewhere else," and I pulled him away from the hallway. We both headed to the garden, which was mostly for Ramirez and me.

"Do you not want others to see us?" Alpha Alex questioned, attempting to touch my backside.

"Alex, what's happening with you? Is this another plan to win me back? If it is, you're too late. I won't give in," I cautioned as I stepped away from him.
