Alicia's POV

I trembled in fear and instantly felt weak. I gazed at Ramirez, who appeared just as bewildered as I was, attempting to tidy my disheveled hair.

"Summon the maids," he instructed one of the guards, who, like Ramirez, wore a perplexed expression while looking at me. I resembled a distraught Luna. What surprised me most was that everyone continued with their activities as if nothing had occurred.

"Are you okay, babe?" Ramirez inquired as he gently brushed a strand of hair from my face.

"I understand I don't look well. But I've been actively trying to protect us from an enemy that threatens us all," I responded to Ramirez, who still seemed perplexed.

"I don't know what you're talking about, Alicia. I mean, the last thing I remember is us both conquering the Lycan Heart, and we cuddled."

"Are you telling me you didn't see the strange woman? The one who kept me locked up in the dungeons here for weeks?" I asked Ramirez, who slowly shook his head in the negative.
