Patty’s POV

Why am I waking up on Frank’s chest, again? After we watched Lethal Weapon 4, we watched the Die Hard movies. I fell asleep during Live Free. But here I am, in my bed, sleeping on top of Frank.

“You wouldn’t let me leave. When I tried, you whimpered in your sleep?” A husky morning voice said.

“Sorry,” I put my chin on his chest and look at him.

“I'll be your pillow for life, if you let me,” Frank smiles at me, while he plays with my hair.

“If I chose a mate, I never get my healing power, and without it, I can’t make the world a better place.”

“You don’t need your powers to make the world better, you do that by existing. You are not just a special wolf; you are a special person. I was so jealous of Alex, he got you. He got the bravest, sweetest, strongest, most intelligent she-wolf the goddess ever created. Part of me is so happy he doesn’t have you anymore. He never deserved you, not on his best day.”

I can’t help but crawl over him to get those lips. I swear, his kisses a
