Sara’s POV

I take off back to Blue Mountain. Ike runs ahead and I follow. I find my clothes and see Thomas waiting for me. Shanka’s mark on his neck.

I stand in wolf form as he stares at me. I see sadness in his eyes.

“Shift back,” Thomas said, confused. I sit on my back legs and look at him. He rolls his eyes and smirks, then turns around.

I shift and dress. “Okay you can turn around.”

He turns and attempts to approach me, but I back away. He looks sad again.

“You’ve been gone for four hours. Your parents are beside themselves, thinking I did something, did I?” He asks.

My eye falls to his mark," no you didn’t. But you don’t seem to have missed me too much. I’m guessing Shay kept you company.”

He sees where my eyes are, “I want to mark you too, I want your mark, why did you run?”

“Because my sister and I agreed no group sex, we would mate individually. She clearly wanted to go first.”
