Chapter 22

At Xander's Palace

Xander can be seen in his room getting dressed. He is wearing a black three-piece suit and is trying to adjust his tie while observing himself in the huge mirror in his room.

Xander's POV~

I didn't really plan on going to work today, but the directors had just requested a board meeting and frankly, it had been a while since I attended one myself without just sending Asher as a proxy. So I decided to go.

"How do I look Asher?" I asked Asher who was standing behind me with some documents in his hands.

"Splendid as always sir" he responded, "Uhmmm, should I get the driver ready?" He asked.

"Sure why not? Get about ten cars ready" I said after which he picked his phone and made a call. Well, there was no time to dally. I had to have breakfast before leaving. I could already suspect that today was going to be a hectic one. How? Sixth sense maybe. Leaving Asher in the room, I hurried downstairs and straight to the dining room, where I took a seat.
