Lucas’s PovI leaned back into my plush chair in annoyance. I had to be up for breakfast before Bella woke up but my father and Victor had to have called an emergency meeting at 2am in the morning. There was no way this meeting would end before five, my father would make sure of it. So I would have to go to breakfast with no sleep and try to pacify Bella the best I could. “How long until everyone gets here?” I asked as I looked around at the nearly empty board room? My father nor Victor said anything, they both skimmed through papers like this was an actual board meeting for the company. Bella’s Pov A small peaceful smile was plastered on my lips as I gently rubbed the stubble around Lucas’s mouth. I loved the way it prickled my finger and the way he was so deep in sleep that he didn’t stir when I examined his face. I hadn’t even noticed how perfect his skin was until today. It wasn’t to shiny but it was smooth. His lips were full and every so often he would lick them. I had to stop myself from wiping off his lips because it just made him lick them again. His eye lashes were full and seemed to be the best feature on his face and I hadn’t even noticed it until today. If not for him being in a deep sleep I wouldn’t have been able to count them either. I had found out that his left eye had more eyelashes than his right one, so to help him out I plucked a few to make sure they were even. Bella’s Pov (1 month later)I frowned as I looked at the fluffy red dress in the mirror. Red should’ve made my body look amazing but all it did was make me look younger than I was. I looked like I should be at the kids table and not the adults table with this dress on. When my father told me we would be going to a party today I couldn’t help but be gleeful. I just didn’t think that he would dress me like I was 8. I sometimes felt like since I lost my memories that he forgot that I would be 17 in less than a month. “This thing can’t be tamed.” I mumbled to my stylist as I tried to push the ball gown down. The forced smile she gave me told me that she could not help me.
