Bella’s Pov

Lucas hadn’t ran after me like I had thought he would. He had decided to stay at the restaurant longer and I only knew this because my driver had taken forever to come and get me.

Lucas had chosen his friends over me. Had he came outside and done something romantic than I would’ve accepted his apology but he hadn’t even bothered to try. That’s how I knew this relationship was not worth it. I was meant to have a loving husband who made my life amazing. Not a husband who couldn’t even come and grovel.

“We are here miss.” My driver stated as he pulled up towards the newly renovated steps. My father had decided to minimize the walk to his car and had replaced the long walkway with what looked like a shorter red clay walk way and red clay steps that lead up to our too big house. My father called it a mansion but that was just a fancy word for house with too many rooms.

The driver got out of the car and went around to open up my door. I gave a tight smile as the door opened
