Bella’s Pov I watched Lucas walk into the huge building and cursed a few times. He clearly wanted to bribe me with something that was nice and I was the dummy who wanted to see what it was. He first threatened me by reminding me that I couldn’t access my money without him and than he was trying to bribe me with a gift that I wanted to see. Lucas’s Pov I looked at Bella’s bloody face and cursed my negligence. How had I forgotten to take out the keys in the ignition? Out of every mistake I made this was the worst one. Lucas’s Pov I didn’t bother caring because I had warned Danny but he had said that her being mad was no big deal. So instead of overreacting I ate my steak and eggs like nothing had happened. I mean it’s not like she could really burn down our house if she really wanted to. I doubt any of the kitchen staff would even let her near the kitchen now. Bella’s Pov The sound of birds chirping had me groaning as I stretched my arms in the air. My body felt sore and I didn’t have to open my eyes to know why. I had fallen asleep outside and it seemed like nobody brought me to bed like they usually did. I didn’t dwell on that and instead slowly opened my eyes and looked around at the morning sky.
