Willow’s POV

After I had put everything away that Alpha Chance had gotten me, I had wandered downstairs to his office to see how much longer he was going to be before he came upstairs for bed. I had come across of few of the sexy lingerie that he had snuck into the purchase at VS and wanted to surprise him with a thank you for everything he had done for me today and for the date, even though it got cut short.

Spending alone time with him today made me realize that my feelings for him were growing stronger and I found myself thinking about him the whole time I was unpacking the shopping bags. To think about how I wanted him to reject me, that first day, sent pain to my heart now after I had gotten to know him and how he is so good to me. He was definitely not the man I had thought he would have been the first time I had met him in his office.
