Chapter forty-five

I ran to the old woman's cabin. “Lola! Lola! Lola!!!” I shouted her name scanning her cabin as well as the whole nearby shrubs.

She didn't show up and I was worried to the core, I bent on my knees as the confusion was getting out of hand, first the long night and I thought it would all end as he happened to be giving in to me but now he went out all angry, it was enough suspicion when he smelled Ramanov scent on my body and I couldn't defend myself, his insecurity had taken hold.

I was there when I saw Lola come out of the wood, I ran towards her. “Lola I need your help.” I breathed out and she stopped on her track and scanned me all over.

“You look a mess little fawn, ” She breathed out, I hated the name she referred me to, but I was one for true and I have never grown matured or used to my situation as it seems now, more complicated. Her voice was as smooth as butter very smooth, unlike every normal day she would scold and nag me around.
