Chapter 5: A Pair of Green Eyes

I was so restless through out the night and my eyes remained wide open. I kept tossing around the bed and squeezing my eyes shut but I couldn’t seem to get it off my head.

“Emily Harper, Saturday, 4:00pm”, his voice came resounding in my head and I groaned in frustration.

I threw away my duvet and put my lampstand on. I got up from my bed and poured for myself a glass of warm water and drank it slowly. My eyes drifted to the business card on my table and it took great effort not to spew the water out from my mouth.

So far everything seemed to remind me of him, remind me of the uncertainty that awaited me at his house tomorrow especially anything green. Why did his eyes have to be that color ? unfortunately I am being surrounded by green. Green trees, green plants……….

I checked the time on my wall. 4:25am, I gasped. It was today not tomorrow.

“oh lord”, I said as I dropped the glass cup on the table.

“Emily Harper, Saturday, 4:00pm”

“Just shut up already!!!”, I snapped and rubbe
