Rays of sunlight drifted through the huge glass windows in the corner of he room, seeping through the open blinds and into Hazel's eyes.

She stirred in her sleep, turning to the other side of the bed and her head flying across her shoulders as she did so. She grabbed a pillow mindlessly, straddling it between he hands and her thighs as she continued to sleep, snoring lightly.

A knock came on the door. She groaned softly, trying to ignore it, as part of a dream that would go away. But it persisted, one more time, two more times... The third time, she groaned loudly, "come in!" She groaned in annoyance.

The door opened, although her eyes were still closed, she was still sleepy.

"Good morning ma'am." A voice greeted.

Her eyes snapped open suddenly and she turned to the person in the room. "Good morning." She greeted the servant standing at the door, her eyes feeling sore.

"Ma'am, breakfast has been served." The servant bowed lightly.
