Chapter Fifty Eight

“I’m sorry.” Elena said, opening her eyes and walking towards him.

“I know I was at fault during the Sarah thing, interrupting your dates and doing things that clearly weren’t needed. I just didn’t like her with you, and it seems you two were getting too close.” She added, stopping some meters away from him.

“I’m so sorry. I really missed you, talking to you, singing in the car with you, going out with you, and telling you about my new escapades. There was no one I could tell about my mum and the principal on call every morning, sending flowers to her twice in a week and even acting like a gentleman to her. And to be honest, I’m so tired of it.” Elena said.

She heard a chuckle escape his throat, setting her heart at ease as she continued.

“And Craig has been the nice boyfriend, I didn’t introduce you to him or tell you about him. I’ve heard his history before you come up with that, but he’s still trying his best to make us work.”

“In
