Chapter One Hundred and Forty One

Matthew peered down into the cloud as the plane progressed higher. He sighed deeply and turned his face back to the aisle.

He made the right choice. Elena was never going to choose him. She was never going to admit that she was also in love with him.

She was, wasn't she? Otherwise, why would she run into the terminal just to meet up with him and say goodbye? She had teared up, or was he just imagining it?

He sighed again and the person next to him turned to look at him.

"Are you alright?" She said.

He turned to look at the person who spoke and smiled as soon as he saw the person.

"Yeah, I am. Just tired," He said, still smiling.

She looked a lot like Elena. The Elena he knew when they were still young. The younger version of Elena.

"Oh, I see," the girl said and stared at him strangely.

He gave an awkward smile and turned his face away quickly, feeling embarrassed. He didn't want the girl to think that he was a weirdo or one of those Playboy's who smile immediately they see a pretty g
