Chapter One Hundred and Seventy Five

By the time Elena got to the welcome party, it was bustling with activities and a lot of their high school friends. After they graduated from high school, Elena did not think that most of them would still hang out, some pursuing some of their hobbies while some just lazed around, some resumed immediately, went out of the country and continents and everybody was just doing their own thing. Elena could feel her phone buzzing in her pocket and she brought it out to see a text from Silver.

We are at the pool.

She immediately made her way down the stairs and headed towards the door that led to the poolside and pushed the door open. Silver, Gaby, Jeremy, Matthew and some other people were there talking in loud voices.

“Elena!” Gaby yelled attracting everyone’s attention as she walked towards them. She had changed her short skirt into black cargo pants. She smiled as she found a place to seat.
