“We are in trouble. Dad is here and he’s looking for you.” A text reads and it’s from another UNKNOWN number.

Didn’t I block Liam?

My heart panics as I turn to the nurse who was in charge. "Where is my patient?”

She looks at me slightly confused because it seems she thinks I’m the one who authorized his discharge, “Maggie the man just had surgery, you’re on duty and I didn’t give you any auth-”

“I did. He asked me to.” William’s voice speaks from behind me and I have to breathe in several times to calm myself down before turning to him.

He is wearing his usual white coat and his brown curls are perfectly placed but now when I look at him, I’d rather be anywhere else. He's a running red flag that our parents told us to report to the police. “So if a patient asks you to kill them will you do it, doctor? Because in my understanding, Mr Lockhart might suffer from Hematoma and right now if anything happens to him, you’ll have killed him!” I practically yell from frustration.
