Chapter Ninety One ~ No one will be spared

“I’m so sorry for what you’re going through son. Let me know if there is anything else you need me to do just let me know. Emily is my daughter too and I want her image restored.” Dad says at the end of the line and I sigh heavily.

“Thanks, Dad,” I respond then I cut the line.

We had flown over to Seattle and thanks to my influence, I was able to postpone today’s hearing by two days. That is all the time I need to expose these bastards. After Alex and I flew to Seattle last night, Anderson called me asking where I was and that didn’t go very well I must say.

“Don’t blow our cover just yet.” Alex rolls his eyes as he pulls over outside the hospital. The one Emily worked at before she moved to New York.

“What makes you think that I’ll blow our cover?” I shrug.

He shakes his head and chuckles as if I just made one of those dry Dad jokes. “Seeing that your temper is off the roof and you feel played, I don’t think we are safe.”
