The next day, Olivia woke up from her sleep, she opened her eyes and saw that she was still on the sofa in her living room with a blanket over her body but she didn't see Alex there.

Her eyes immediately fell on the tray on the table, milk, sandwiches, and a note beside it.

“Don't forget your breakfast, your boyfriend, Alex”

Olivia just smiled when she read it and chose to clean her face first before sipping milk and taking her sandwich then taking it to the balcony, and sitting there while enjoying the refreshing morning air.

Just finished the sandwich in her hand, an incoming call appeared on her phone screen, it was Alex.

"Hello?" Olivia said.

“Morning babe,” Alex said.

"Morning," Olivia said.

“Have you eaten your breakfast?” Alex said.

“Yeah I just finished that, thanks for the sandwich,” Olivia said.

"I got news from the hospital, if your mother's condition starts to improve, I know you want to see her but you know if you come there the paparazzi will find you and that won't be good for the future," Alex said.

"Oh really? Thank goodness, can't I also contact her? I miss her so much,” Olivia said.

"Let her recover first and you can call her another time," Alex said.

"Ah well, thanks Alex," Olivia said.

“Okay, and can you make steak for dinner?” Alex said.

"Yes, but it looks like I have to go shopping now, there aren’t a lot of ingredients in the fridge," Olivia said.

"Okay, I'll transfer money to your account, and buy some clothes or jewelry for yourself too, I'll call you later, bye babe," Alex said.

"Bye, Alex," Olivia said and hung up the phone.

Olivia could never even spend the money that Alex sent her, but every time she wanted to shop, Alex always sent her money in a big amount.

After getting ready, Olivia left in her car. Yes, Alex bought her a brand-new BMW as a birthday present last year. Olivia never asked for it because it would burden her in the future but Alex still bought it.

After about 25 minutes of driving, Olivia finally arrived at the supermarket, she had written down what she needed to buy on her phone. Olivia bought a lot of vegetables, fruit, meat, and seafood, she also bought pasta and spices.

Her trolley was almost full of kitchen necessities, and while she was queuing to pay for her shopping, she heard someone behind her saying something about Alex and Carol.

No one recognized Olivia at that time, because she was wearing a hat and mask, she made herself comfortable without having to worry if someone talked about her.

At first, Olivia tried to ignore their conversation but after hearing about wedding dresses and other things, Olivia felt quite curious. She hurried to finish her payment at the cashier and went to her car.

Taking out her phone and opening the online news that day, she saw the hot news that many people were talking about at that time.

"New Couple, Alex and Carol will get married in Los Angeles, United States,"

"Alex and Carol came to a famous designer's place to have a fitting"

And lots of other news, made Olivia's heart feel quite disappointed, she tried not to shed any more tears, she tried not to care about what happened between Alex and Carol. Olivia decided to return to the penthouse.

In a restaurant, Alex and Carol were seen sitting opposite each other, they were enjoying dinner at that time, but Carol's face looked happier because her dream was about to come true. She will soon marry the man she has dreamed of for a long time.

But not with Alex, he was just busy calling someone on his phone and his face looked annoyed.

"What is it? Who did you call?” Carol said.

"Olivia, she's not picking up my calls," Alex said.

“Olivia? Wait, why are you still contacting her? I mean, we're going to marry Alex," Carol said.

“I have to go home now,” Alex said.

"What? no!” Carol held him there.

“Why do you want to go home now? what about me?” Carol said.

"Here, take a taxi home and I'll call you when I'm home, bye Carol," Alex just kissed the girl's forehead, put the money on the table and left in a hurry.

It was already 10 pm at that time but Alex was still stuck in traffic, he kept calling Olivia but she didn't pick up the phone as usual, then Alex tried to open the news that day and was surprised to see what they were reporting, Alex knew why Olivia was ignoring him.

When he arrived at the penthouse, he saw that the room was quite dark with the TV on, he called Olivia but there was no answer. Until he found Olivia on the balcony of their room with a mess of beer cans.

“What are you doing with these cans!” Alex said, His tone was quite high but Olivia just turned to him with a smile.

“Oh you're home? I haven't made dinner for you, but I don't think you're hungry, right?” Olivia said and when she wanted to take a sip of the beer in her hand, Alex immediately grabbed it and threw the can on the floor, making it wet.

“My beer, why did you throw it away? you have to mop the floor because it makes it wet,” Olivia said.

“You're drunk Olivia,” Alex said.

"I'm not drunk Alex, I was just drinking beer, and that was my last beer, that's the one over there, the one you threw away," Olivia said and tried to stand in front of Alex.

“How was dinner with your girl?” Olivia said.

"How do you know?" Alex said.

"Everyone knows, I'm the only one who doesn't know, so I looked for it, stupid me," Olivia said.

“It was fun,” Alex said.

“Oh, you like having dinner with her?” Olivia said.

"Of course, she will be my wife," Alex said.

"Yeah, I forgot, she's going to be your wife and I'm going to be your fucking mistress," Olivia laughed.

“Come in, it's cold in here,” Alex said.

"No, I prefer here, it's cold," Olivia said and continued to stare at Alex in front of her.

“You're so drunk,” Alex said.

“Do you love her?” Olivia said.

“Did you leave any beer for me?” Alex said.

"Oops, that was the last can, the one you threw away," Olivia covered her mouth with her hand and Alex took her hand.

"Then I'll take what's left of you," Alex said and immediately kissed Olivia on the lips, tasting the beer in her mouth and making Olivia jump onto him, hugging Alex tightly with her arms wrapped around Alex's neck.

Alex took her into the room and laid her on the bed.

“Alex, do you love her?” Olivia said.

“Why do you always ask that?” Alex said.

"Because you want to marry her and she will be your wife," Olivia said.

"You're my girlfriend," Alex said, he was on top of Olivia and couldn't stop looking at her.

“Yeah, I'm your girlfriend,” Olivia said.

“You're mine,” Alex said.

“I'm yours,” Olivia said.

"Good girl," Alex said and Olivia just smiled before her eyes closed.

Olivia woke up from her sleep as if she had had a nightmare and immediately sat up in bed with sweat on her face, her head was still very dizzy from the rest of her hangover.

"What is it?" Alex, who was sleeping next to her, also woke up.

"Nothing, I think I had a nightmare," Olivia said.

"Where are you going?" Alex said.

"Washing my face," Olivia said and immediately entered the bathroom. She washed her face with water and remembered what happened last night, but all she remembered was the scene where Alex kissed her.

“Did I say something to him?” Olivia mumbled and occasionally held her head.

Olivia came out of the bathroom, she saw that there were no more beer cans on the floor, maybe Alex cleaned them up. She also saw Alex who was back asleep in their bed.

"What are you doing there? Come here and sleep," Alex said, he patted the mattress next to him and Olivia climbed back into bed and lay down next to Alex.

She faced the CEO and their eyes met.

"Why are you looking at me?" Alex said.

"Nothing, you seemed very busy last night," Olivia said.

“Me or you? you ignored my calls,” Alex said.

"Oh really?" Olivia said she didn't realize she had turned her phone to silent mode.

"I'm starving because I didn't eat dinner, I just drank a little beer," Alex said.

"Jeez, I remember what you meant by a little beer," Olivia said and Alex chuckled.

"What about my dinner?" Alex said.

“Why are you still discussing it?” Olivia said.

“Because I'm hungry, and I want my steak,” Alex said.

Olivia doesn't know why Alex lied even though she knows Alex must have read the news about her and Carol at the restaurant last night. The paparazzi are crazy, they do many things to get the best news.

"I thought you had dinner," Olivia said.

“Yeah, but not with you,” Alex said.

"Why are you like this to me?" Olivia said.

"What else? You’re my girlfriend, Olivia, is this weird?” Alex said.

“I'm just your fake girlfriend, you shouldn't have to treat me like this, isn't this too much?” Olivia said.

"We've been together for 3 years and this is the first time you've said that my treatment of you is too much, is it because I'm getting married soon?" Alex said.

"Forget it!" Olivia rolled her eyes.

“I want my steak,” Alex said.

“Oh come on Alex, it's 2am and you still want to eat your steak?” Olivia said.

"Yeah, I'm sure you haven't eaten either," Alex said and the sound of Olivia's stomach growling seemed to prove that statement.

“Shit!” Olivia muttered and got out of bed, she decided to go out to the kitchen and make the CEO his favorite steak.

Alex's words are true, Olivia never questioned Alex's behavior towards her during the 3 years they were together, what Alex did to her was very special, as if their relationship was real.

But learning the news of Alex's marriage to Carol shocked Olivia, she felt betrayed, she was very disappointed because she almost fell for his bait. Olivia seemed to be hit by the reality that it was impossible for her to have a future with Alex. She is just one of many girls who dreams of living with the CEO.
