Chapter 49. Money Loan

Sonya was stunned to hear the cashier's words. What did she mean by saying that it couldn't be used? Last night, she still used it for transactions; there was no problem. "Miss, there may be a slight error; you can try again. Last night, I still used it for transactions," Sonya told the cashier; she was a little worried but tried to calm down because Nina was beside her.

"It's been tried three times, Madam, and it still doesn't work," the cashier replied patiently.

Sonya snorted; she opened her bag, took out another card, and handed it to the cashier. After a few moments, the cashier said the same thing. Sonya's face paled. She couldn't cover her surprise. 'Damn, what's going on? Did Nathan block the card? But why? It's my right, and he can't just block it because it's against the contract.'

Sonya grumbled in her heart. She wanted to scream at the bastard, but she tried to hold back. She was worried that Nina would look down on her.

"What about the payment, madam?" asked the cas
