Chapter 54. New Car

"Hello Laura, what's wrong with you, Ra?" asked Nina in confusion, while on the other end of the line, Laura could be heard sobbing.

"Nina..." Laura said between sobs as if she couldn't say anything.

"Yes, Ra, what's wrong?" asked Nina softly, "what happened?"

Nathan, who saw Nina's face filled with worry, stopped eating; he looked at his girlfriend, who was talking to her best friend. As for Mike, he seemed to hear nothing; nothing could distract him from the delicious food.

"Nin, Benny..." Laura was sobbing again; she could only mention the name of the man Nina knew to be Laura's boyfriend.

"What's wrong with Benny?" Nina cut in quickly, but Laura couldn't answer, her sobs growing more heartbreaking.

"Okay-okay, where are you? I'll be there," Nina said in the end; it seemed that Laura was facing a severe problem that was impossible to tell her over the phone.

"Wind Bar," Laura replied briefly between sobs.

"Okay, I'll be right there; you wait a minute." Nina immediately disconnecte
