After I saw Darlington and his family discussing a new house in the dining room, it broke my heart. I believe his lies about ending his affair with Jenna. I couldn't believe that I fell for his charm. He was different at first, when he didn't fall for me, even after seeing me naked. So I had thought he was a different man and meant his promise to stay away from Jenna, but I was only dreaming and realized that I was stupid to have believed him.

When I was having my dinner with Bella in my room, and just before Bella left me, I created a facade with her that I was fine, so she wouldn't be worried about me.

Bella was annoyed after she witnessed Mrs. Ifeoma's rude behavior. She told me that she wouldn't tolerate a mean mother-in-law or a man who wouldn't speak up for her and watch his family maltreat her.
