Amara Nicholas:

Mrs. Ifeoma's brows furrowed at me as I quickly greeted her, "Good morning, Ma."

"Yes, morning. What are you doing up here? Did you sleep here last night?" She inquired as I wanted to rush downstairs.

"No, Ma. I only came to ask Darlington if we were going to the church today," I said, but Mrs. Ifeoma had a doubtful look on her face.

"Just go already and keep your distance away from my son," she said, while I frowned and went downstairs.

I went to the kitchen and instructed one of the maids to prepare my tea. I prepared my tea and Bella's as the maids said to me politely that they were busy.

As I was done, I went to the guest room and met Bella in the corridor as she was already dressed up in a crimson gown.

"Big sis, I was searching for you everywhere," she complained, and I offered an apologetic smile her way.

"I'm sorry, I went to prepare our tea and to know if we're going to the church. Come, let's have something to bite and drink," I said.
