I couldn't tell Amara the truth, and I knew that she wouldn't believe me. Not after confirming from the doctor that Amara was carrying my baby. I was the one who had registered Amara as my neighbor at home and a close family friend to me, as I briefed the nurses about my father's closeness to Amara, when they had registered her name.

The young nurses were aware that I was in a relationship with Jenna Colton and seeing me with another woman who had been confirmed pregnant. I didn't want the news to spread out, so I had to play along with the lies that had been created before.

I could have jumped up excitedly to show Amara how happy I am to now become an expectant dad, the joy that Jenna had deprived me of, but then, I had to act cool and pretend that I wasn't happy.
