At this moment, I am here sitting on my chair and I am very nervous. The emcee is about to announce the winner of tonight's award ceremony.

Bernadette, my co-actress , is sitting beside me. I know she's expecting to receive the award tonight. Well, who doesn't want the best actress award? This award is a token of your hard work.

“The best actress award goes to Cassandra Lei Tan! Congratulations!”

Did I hear it right? Did I win? Oh my gosh! I won!

I am so shocked and happy at the same time. I finally did it! I happily went to the stage to receive my award. This night is the best night of my life.

I am Cassandra Lei Tan, and I am an actress. I started my acting career when I was 10 years old. So basically, I am here in this industry for more than a decade now. I was a famous child star back then. Now that I am older, I need to do more mature roles.

I am always ready for it because I love new challenges. In a snap of a finger, I didn't expect that my life would change because of one incident. I have the most beautiful life a 24-year-old girl could ever have until I got into a drug scandal.

I swear that I have never used illegal drugs but people are believing the fake news. I lost my career after that. I am so sad, I am losing hope.
