Chapter 22 Neglected

Susan's words caused Lewis's face to darken immediately, and his eyes turned slightly cold: "Susan, you've gone too far. I can let you live in the Royal Manor, or I can let you out."

Susan was trying to meddle in Lewis's private life, hitting a nerve.

Fearfully and with a pale face, Susan stammered, "Lewis, I-I was just asking."

"What's none of your business, do not meddle," Lewis glanced at her coldly, "Just stick to your role."

With that, he left straight away.

Susan felt like she had narrowly escaped a catastrophe; Lewis's expression was terrifying.

She couldn't bear to lose the opulence—the big villa, designer bags, and luxury cars. How could she give it up? Even if she couldn't be Mrs. Lewis, what did it matter?

As long as he gave her enough money, that was all that mattered.

At present, she was the only woman living in the Royal Manor; she believed there would be opportunities. If she were to have Lewis's child, she could enjoy this splendid wealth forever.

Susan was realistic.
