Chapter 29 Do You Like Baby?

Judy couldn't take the medicine because of the baby: "It's alright, I just need some fresh air, no need for medication, I'm allergic to motion sickness pills."

She was even impressed with herself for how easily she could lie.

"Then go inside and find a seat to sit for a while. I’m going to step outside for a smoke," Lewis said, before he headed to the smoking area.

Judy stood still, watching as Lewis lit a cigarette in the smoking area, his silhouette exuding an indescribable loneliness.

She could tell that he was troubled.

As someone who always held a high position, Lewis couldn't afford to wear his emotions on his sleeve like others could.

He was a leader of a public company, and he needed to exude authority and be imposing.

Judy felt a little warmth in her heart remembering the way Lewis had looked after her just moments before.

Although Lewis often seemed harsh, with a perpetual frown as if the world owed him a fortune, he was unfailingly fair to his staff.
