Too Rash

Violet's POV

"Violet!" Jason shouted back.

The way I shouted got the lady angry and she glared at me.

"If you hurt my wife, I will destroy you!" He roared.

The girl chuckled and ended the call.

" It seems your husband isn't ready to talk to him. Since he wants to go crazy, I will drive him crazy," she said, handing over the phone to her bodyguard while looking at me.

I was already running crazy because I didn't know what that woman wanted exactly. She just called him just to rile him up.

"Just tell me what you want and why you are doing this?" I said, holding back my tears.

If she had wanted to kill me I knew she would have, so this means that she wanted something. If she didn't want money, what then does she want from someone as poor as me?

"I wouldn't have the need to do this if that old man didn't cross his lane," she said between gritted teeth.
