Josh drove through the coffee shop and ordered the desired orders of his boss and Miss Rayne. He also ordered himself one too.
And then he drove to the bookstore.
This made Josh smile at the thought of his boss and Miss Rayne in the bookstore, hanging around each other.
He thought it would be a cute date.
However, when Josh had parked the car, he was surprised to see that his friend wasn’t going to accompany Miss Rayne.
He watched as she hopped out of the car and walked towards the bookstores building.
And then he turned to his friend.
‘I’m surprised that you didn’t go after her, Luke.’ Josh had said with a slight grin.
‘Why?’ Luke said back.
He was trying to play dumb with his friend.
And Josh knew it.
‘I am not stupid, Luke. I have been your friend for too long not to notice a difference in you.’
Josh believed that he knew Luke the best.
