Chapter 54 - Contested Divorce

“Shame on you for claiming that you are Kirsten’s mother when you abandoned her while she was only a month old. Do you think she will regard you as her mother?” Evelyn mockingly said while she massaged her sore hand. She slapped her so hard and her palm was burning. 

“She’s a soft hearted woman and she could not completely ignore her biological mother.” Lucille refuted Evelyn without shame. Lucille was about to say more but Gavin tugged at Lucille’s arm. 

“Mom, stop creating a scene here.” Gavin was so ashamed of Gordon and Lucille’s behavior. 

Lucille cupped Gavin's face and said, “Mom and dad are doing this to get what is rightfully yours.”
