This time, there was no stopping me. I audibly gasped as we walked into the Terrance Penthouse, the lift taking us directly to it. The 1930’s style was continued, a mixture of dark wood and art deco furniture. He led me to a living area decorated with accents of turquoise, with an attached ‘powder room’. Upon the coffee table was a bottle of champagne in an ice bucket.

“A drink?” He offered.

I nodded, still a little speechless from our surroundings. I walked up to the terrace doors, pushing them open to step into the London evening air. Placing my hands on cream-coloured railings, I peered out to find Hyde Park. I would never have believed I’d ever get to come to somewhere like this.

“Here.”

Ezra had appeared beside me, handing a chilled flute. We clinked and took a sip.

“Would you like to see the rest?”

I laughed. “Yes. I suppose I would.”
