Chapter 73

Beta Liu's POV:

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Danciana was so convinced that Aurelia had poisoned Alpha Dante, but it just didn't make sense to me. We had all witnessed the bond forming between Aurelia and Dante, and it was obvious that they cared deeply for each other. Why would she do something so terrible to him?

"Danciana, I really think we might be jumping to conclusions here," I said, trying to reason with her. "Aurelia loves Alpha Dante. Why would she poison him?"

Danciana shook her head, her eyes narrowed with determination. "Evidence and proofs don't lie, Beta Liu," she replied firmly. "We found traces of a poison in the food she cooked for him. It's hard to believe, I know, but we can't ignore the facts."

I sighed, feeling torn between loyalty to my pack and my belief in Aurelia's innocence. "I understand that, but there must be some mistake. Maybe someone else had access to the food, or it could have been a misunderstanding."

Danciana's expression softened slightly
