Danciana's Point Of View

I sat in my dimly lit office, the weight of my thoughts pressing heavily on my mind. My heart ached with the need to know, to find out if Aurelia was still out there somewhere, alive and well. The past had been a labyrinth of secrets and betrayal, and the only way to navigate through it was by keeping a watchful eye on Genevieve, Dylan's mother. She held the key to the truth I sought, but for that, I needed Dylan's cooperation.

With a sigh, I reached for my phone, fingers trembling slightly as I dialed Dylan's number. The seconds stretched into an eternity, and then finally, his voice broke through the silence. "Hello?"

"Dylan, it's Danciana," I began, my tone measured but urgency lacing my words. "There's something important I need to discuss with you. Can we meet?"

A brief pause hung in the air, followed by a hesitant response. "I'm swamped with work right now, Danciana. But I'll let you know when I'm free."

"I understand," I replied, disappointment tugging
