Jude’s POV
Whoever did that to her mother was a soulless beast. What Davina has been through these last few days can make anyone break, wish for death, and give up this agony.
I thought she was pure evil, but she was just forced against her will. Her twin sister must be held as leverage by that man to control Davina into being his own ultimate weapon.
Somehow, it didn’t hurt that she chose her sister over her mate. She was her family, and I was someone she didn’t know.
Not just that, I made her decision more easier by trying to rip her heart out of….shit…
