After the session we had with the young schoolgirl, we asked the headhunter to release her when we realized she knew little about what happened. It was obvious that she was telling the truth about not seeing who was responsible for all the deaths. She looked scared just narrating how has found the body.

We returned to our office after that, speculating on the turn of events. Things were getting out of hand, and needed to be resolved before Summer got wind of it.

We knew we couldn't keep it a secret forever, but the problem was this: none of us knew where to start. The killer left nothing that might lead us to them. We were still in the same place we started, having made no progress at all.
