Chapter Forty Eight

Ryan's POV:

Oh my God, did Pearl leave?

That's the first thought that came to my mind as soon as I woke up from sleep. My neck made a cracking sound as I sat up in a hurry. Somewhere between the middle of the movie I fell asleep on the couch. And my shoulder felt stiff.

May be because of my awkward sleeping posture.

Ryan do you really have so much time to think about that?

My innerself snapped at me while I was going over all that. It was right though, what if Pearl already left?

No no that can't happen. I didn’t even get to talk to her about our issues.

I ran towards the bedroom in a rush to check if she was there or not and she was sleeping on the bed like a princess who was waiting for her prince to come and wake up her with a kiss.

But I didn’t think that she would appreciate that, so I left the room with a sigh to go to the kitchen to see what was being made for breakfast as she would be hungry when she would wake up.
