FELIX.

I haven’t messaged or called Brynn since we met in her class.

I’m trying not to come off as too clingy and I’ve successfully stuck to that thought for twenty-nine hours, two minutes, and thirty seconds. It’s not as if I’m counting the hours until it doesn’t look too clingy to send a text; I just happen to always keep good track of the way I spend my time.

I fall back against the sofa as I click on Jade’s I*******m profile. She’s having her birthday party tonight, and she just uploaded a video of herself on her story. She’s so close to the phone that I only see her face, but you can hear the excitement from her scream and she grins widely. No doubt Brynn will be there for her.

A thought crosses my mind and my lips turn in a smirk as I stare back at the video. Jade tagged the location where she’s having the party and it’ll definitely be a private one, but we can work around that.

I lock my phone and throw it on the sofa before jumping out of it to run to my room and change my clot
