Lexi’s POV

“What’s the matter? Why do you look so angry?” I asked as if he wasn’t looking angry before he left the house with Celine.

“And where is Celine? Is she alright?” I asked again and that was where Ivan lost it. He angrily kicked the table in the center of the room before facing me properly.

His eyes had turned red in anger and his breathing was faster than it was supposed to be. His forehead was a little bit wrinkled and startled, I couldn’t say anything but watch him pull his shirt off before approaching me.

“Well,” he cleared his throat as he laid beside me, it was as though he’d pulled off his anger alongside his shirt.

“Nothing was wrong with Celine, apparently,” he added and I opened my mouth to say something but it went shut back without words coming out.

“She only decided to make me waste my time by driving her to the hospital and you know what, I really don’t want to talk about it because I knew it was an act, I could see it but you persuaded me to go with her and now
