Three days have passed since I "awakened" from the hellish nightmare that turned out to be the transition process I had to go through before becoming a Leech. Alice told me everything that had happened while I was unconscious.

After the poison that paralyzed me attacked my respiratory system, Alice and Erik brought me to Nicholas Shaw's house. The poison in my body could not be neutralized, so the only way was either to let me die or to turn me into a Leech.

Unfortunately, Nicholas could not turn me into his Leech, as every time Volder transformed a human into a Leech, they would also lose some of their power. He had already turned Erik into his Leech, so he could not turn me too. Especially since Ella had just given birth to twin babies, and her daughter, Rosie, was born as a normal human.
