Chapter 61 –  Nothing Happened

(Lexi’s POV)

The sound of my cell phone alarm at four in the morning startled me and woke me up. Groaning, I rolled to the bed, only to fall off the couch. The soft thud of my body on the floor woke me up completely.

“Aw!” I whimpered, massaging my arm that first hit the floor.

The shrill cry of my phone startled me. I turned to where I had placed my cell phone and was confused at first as to why I was in the living room instead of our bedroom. My eyes narrowed when I saw the time.

Now I remembered why I was on the couch. I was waiting for Lexa.

It was past midnight when I woke up and started to worry about her. If Frank found out she was pretending to be me, he would get mad at her and me. He seemed not to like my twin sister, and I could not blame him for that as we all did not meet the ordinary way.
