Best Friend Turned Enemy

Jeremy pov:

As I slowly opened my eyes, I couldn't believe what I saw. The room was pitch black, and I couldn't remember how I got there.

Did I pass out on the jet? And if so, for how long? It could have been a day or a week, but I had no way of telling. The only thing I knew was that I was in trouble.

My heart was pounding as I scanned the room, trying to make sense of my surroundings. There were no windows, no doors that I could see.

And then it hit me, had they already sold me? And what about the other boys? Had they been sold too?

As I looked down at my body, I realized that I was no longer naked. Instead, I was dressed in a dress that someone else had put on me. And there was a bandage wrapped tightly around my head, reminding me of the beating I had taken.

But despite the pain and confusion, the worst part was the silence.

It was so quiet that I could hear my own breathing and the sound of my dry mouth.

My throat felt like sandpaper as I croaked out, "Is anyone there?"
