I was devastated, broken, and shattered into pieces. This wasn't how I was expecting my vacation to look like.

Ranging from Nicholas’s scandal to Briella…..I mean how could she put up with something as horrendous as that? The worst thing was that I couldn't help!

It didn't matter if I was an actress and now well known, my father would kidnap me in a bid to fulfill his wishes. I hated my life and I hated that I couldn't protect myself, talkless of those around me.

I was startled when I felt someone’s hands slide around my waist. When I tilted my head slowly in his direction, my eyes lit up brightly and a faint smile formed on my face.

“Nicholas” I muttered underneath my breath as soon as he brushed his lips through my ear lobes.

As much as I wanted him, I didn't want him at the moment. Couldn't he read the room? Couldn't he see how devastated I was?
