When Junia darted her eyes off me and when I saw how she quivered in fear, I didn't need any soothsayer to tell me that something bad happened. In a matter of seconds, she busted into a peal of hysterical laughter and despite the laughter that she erupted in, I could see the glint of fear in her eyes.

At that very moment, I knew that something was off somewhere.

When her jaw dropped, that confirmed my suspicion of something being wrong and now, I was correct like always. News about Briella spread on the media like wildfire.

She had been assaulted by that beast! I had always hated him and Briella as well. Briella might have come across as being a nice person but I hated the fact that she was always hiding her pain with a smile.

I have always known that something was wrong with the union between her and that bastard but never in my wildest imagination did I ever imagine that it would be as bad as him beating her up to pulp.

Really bad editing. All the Ames keep getting mixed up and reversed and it makes story hard to follow
