For a second, I thought that my hearing was impaired like I didn’t hear what I just heard Jones say. The panic in his voice, the fear that his voice held didn’t stop the laughter that erupted from my mouth.

“That is a lie. How is that possible? You are kidding, right? You are not telling me that she was beaten to death by her husband? We all know how he loves her! You must be joking…… why would you even joke with something like that?” I said amidst the laughter that escaped from my mouth.
