Seething with rage, I glanced behind me, only to notice that there was no car behind us. I raised a brow in confusion, darting my eyes back to the driver.

“I thought you claimed that there was a car following us?”

He glanced in the side mirror, shock evident on his face. “Yes, a car was following us earlier so how did the car suddenly vanish……” His words trailed off
