Adrian's POV

"Get me that bastard called Marco and bring him to my office now!" I instructed Jay who had accompanied me to the meeting earlier.

My meeting had ended rather terribly. I made alot of new discoveries that I did not know even existed. Only after I had attended the meeting with the locals of the new branch site we acquired did I learn that the man I had put in charge of its acquisition had cheated not just the locals but myself too.

He claimed to have paid the full cost for the site and had done everything necessary for its acquisition but that was not the case.

Out of ten million we had spent for the land's purchase, he had only remitted half the amount to the locals with claims that the company would cover the rest of its cost later on as he was yet to receive the other half from us.

Meanwhile I had been told a whole different story with legal papers of the land as proof that he had settled all that was necessary.
