Chapter 66

Lea’s point of view:

Monday came faster than I expected.

The girls had dropped by yesterday to choose my clothes for my first day at St-Xavier’s. They made it such a big deal that I felt even sicker to my stomach. I just wanted the ground to open up and swallow me up.

The feeling to disappear overpowered any other rational thoughts that were running though my mind. As if things could not get any worse, I had felt nauseous and my head had started aching.

Ryder had saved me out of my misery. He prepared dinner so the moment he told the girls that dinner was ready, they had rushed downstairs. They were telling me how starved they were. Shelly had spent the entire day with Max at the hospital while Aubrey helped her mom with some stuffs around her garden.
