Chapter 27: Smitten

It was a marriage for convenience, alright. He never want this from the very start but he was left with no choice. It was actually a promised wedding that was supposed to be between the descendant of his grandfather and his best friend Bienvenido Saavedra. Since the two were both blessed with an only child and both were sons, they decided to pass the agreement to their grandchild. When Don Buenvenido Saavedra passed away, his grandfather void the agreement and never try to insist on the arranged marriage since his dear friend was gone already. But when Don Gerardo Saavedra's Company got into big financial trouble, he use that agreement to gain help from his grandpa. Feeling pleased his grandpa never hesitated to promise help just as long the arranged marriage will happen and the two families will finally unite.
