Chapter 31: Weekend Getaway
"Good morning!" Zeke enthusiastically greeted her the moment he saw her enter the kitchen.
"G-Good morning!" she replied stunned by his presence in the kitchen.
He was wearing an apron while setting the table. It looks like he just finished cooking and now preparing the food he just cooked. She never expected to see him in the kitchen because he has usually gone to work every time she woke up. She suddenly remembers that it's Saturday and he has no work in the office during weekends.
"I've cooked us breakfast. Come on, let's eat." To her surprise, he comes near her and gives her a peck on the lips.
She was stunned for a moment and stared at him, it seemed he didn't mind her reaction because the next thing she knew he pulled out a chair for her and hand her a bouquet of tulips that she doesn't know where he took from. He must have hidden it when he saw her towering down the stairs.
