Johnny arrived quickly. Much faster than Emanuele could have even imagined.The girl was still in her pajamas and her eyes were swollen from crying when the doorbell rang. She had told the floor and apartment number in the call, but completely forgot to mention that the culprit was not the current owner of the apartment.When she opened the door, the first thing Jhonny did was to evaluate her from top to bottom. He was wearing jeans, a black shirt and a matching jacket. Then the boy held up both her hands and said:"Thank you for calling me. Did he do something to you? After the old lady left, both Johnny and Emanuele agreed to go away and take a short walk. They needed some fresh air. The little card was still in the small town girl's hand, her fingers trembling.As soon as she got to the cramped quarters, although she didn't know when, since Thabata would probably be there "talking" to her boyfriend, she would hand it over. The ride home was painful, slow, and filled with fear, confusion, and trepidation.The horrible image was always in her mind: the poor old woman lying on the asphalt, terribly injured and unconscious. Emanuele did not want to stay to see the rescue. In fact, even before an ambulance arrived, one of the passersby threw a tarp over the body.Johnny stood pale beside her, holding her by the waist as they made their way back to the building. The idea was that they would spend the rest of the day away, but that couldn't wait.How would Joshua react? Would he remember the nanny? The card with the number given minutes before weighed like lead in the girl's purse. Now he would never be able to call her again and find out what had happened between them.But there was still one thing Emanuele could do. The boys roll around the apartment, exchanging punches and kicks. Although she is scared and terrified, screaming for them to stop, Emanuele realizes that both of them are not beating around the bush. Apparently, both Joshua and Johnny know how to fight for real.This only makes things worse, actually, since they both know how to neutralize an aggressor. Things could get completely out of hand, I mean, more than they already were.Emanuele yells once again for them to stop, but the two do not listen. Unable to think straight, the redhead goes to the kitchen and fills a jug with water. In Porto Feliz, when stray dogs and cats would start fighting, the residents would separate them by pouring water over them.This is exactly what she does when she returns to the living room. They don't run off like puppies, but stop hitting each other and look at her, frightened and confused."For God's sake, you guys could end up killing each other!
